Am pretty happy with this piece. Charles the Chow Chow!

On the day that I did the glaze, there was some filming going on in the workshop, and the crew had moved some things around, so I couldn't find the standard underglaze provided by the workshop. They also didn't allow any of us to make any noise.

So I had to use the underglaze from a friend, she happened to have a black underglaze. I didn't know it was glossy, so, thinking it was matte, I wanted to give the nose and the tongue a shine. Well, that's the fail, coz, apparently the underglaze had a glossy finish.

As this is supposed to be a planter I didn't want this to have a glossy finish (less porous) but it is what it is.

This planter is a gift to a colleague that's going into retirement.

This is exciting. I finally completed the piece for a fan meeting I'm going at the end of September. After I took this photo, I actually...

Row of cats

Just sharing since I sent this photo to someone. My row of cats. (The last piece of Lê Petite Prince is a store bought thing)

Another random piece

This one, the colors don’t contrast enough. I might try to fill in the colors again more.
